Overview

This ProMediaGear bracket plate is custom fitted for Nikon D500 MB-D17 Grip.

The bracket plate can be mounted to ProMediaGear flash brackets or L-Brackets.

Since it is custom designed it fits like a glove perfectly matching the camera shape, it also provides anti-rotation so the plate won't slip or twist.

The plate has been machined from solid Aluminum T6061 block and has hard black anodized surface coating for scratch resistant finish. It also features 1/4-20 threads for mounting other quick release plates or accessories.

All company photographers are required to use Boomerang flash brackets for almost all indoor camera mounted flash events. When using a plate like the PBNMBD17 made exclusively for the camera have never experienced a twisting of the unit due to the weight of the flash and bracket as we have when a universal plate. If you application calls for a boomerang flash bracket I strongly recommend the use of a custom made plate in lieu of a universal plate. This plate like all ProMediaGear is designed for the professional that needs his/her tools to work correctly when called upon.

Bracket Plate

Was extremely happy when this bracket was made and released for sale. Fits my older boomerang bracket perfectly. The universal bracket that came originally always twisted in use. Looking forward to shooting my next wedding and not having to worry about the camera twisting in the bracket any more. Thank you!

Well made, good fit on my MB-D17. Looks like a good long lasting finish. Lots of flexibility built in. I use it as an Arca-Swiss connection and it does that well. The only reason for knocking a star off is the mounting screw first shipped with the part did not fit. Once alerted to the problem the screw was promptly replaced. At this price point shouldn't everything be right the first time out?
