Overview

This ProMediaGear bracket plate is custom-fitted for Sony Alpha A1 and A7r V.

The bracket plate can be mounted to ProMediaGear flash brackets or L-Brackets.

Since it is custom designed it fits like a glove perfectly matching the camera shape, it also provides anti-rotation so the plate won't slip or twist.

The plate has been machined from solid Aluminum T6061 block and has a hard black anodized surface coating for a scratch-resistant finish. T

he plate also features 1/4-20 threads for mounting other quick-release plates or accessories.

PBSA1 Bracket plate for Sony Alpha A1 and A7r V Arca-Swiss Type

Bracket is very well made and fits my Arca Swiss ball head very nicely. The only issue I have is that the bracket impeds the LCD screen from pointing down when using the camera over head. I mostly use the lower to the ground so it is not a deal breaker but wish i would have known.

Mission accomplished!

I've been looking for a way to easily connect and disconnect my strap from my Sony camera body, while also being confident that when it was engaged, it would be secure. The combination of the PBSA1 Bracket and SS2P1 was the perfect match! I use the bracket with my RRS ballhead and the quick release adapter plug lets me take my strap on and off with minimal effort and total confidence that when it's on it's not going anywhere. I love it.
