Perfect fit.

I also ordered this bracket because the cheaper imports don't allow for the battery to be swapped out while mounted. This one does. On the Z8 with grip, the 10 pin connector cover is partially obstructed, for me it's a non issue as I don't use the connector. Also be aware that the individual parts have different part numbers printed on them while box has the correct part number, this can lead to confusion as the lower plate is also marked for the Z6/7. But fit is fine. Overall, it's solid like a rock and has no flex. Mine wS missing the second small wrench but I have hundreds of them laying around. For $100 less than the other USA brands you can't do better. I'm very satisfied

perfect fit

I ordered an L-bracket for my gripped Z8 from a company that had a good bracket for my gripped Z6ii. Unfortunately, the Z8 version blocked the battery door from opening and had no adjustment that would have allowed me to clear it. A friend recommended ProMediaGear to me and I liked what I saw. Initially I was a bit skeptical about the moving parts (the rails) but it is well built and solid. The design also allows easy access to the battery door and the various ports on the left side. This is far superior to the Z6ii bracket from the other company. I'm very happy with the quality and functionality, plus the price was very good.
